Problem Attempting to log into your ESET Endpoint Encryption (EEE) key-file displays the following error 'The requested object was not found (Error 0xC01C0002)' Cause The cause of the issue may be the way that your Workstation policy is set. In advanced options 'Force RDS Mandatory Profile Mode' is configured to 'Yes' Solution If your Workstation Policy is set in that way, you will need to change it to not use 'Force RDS Mandatory Profile Mode' as shown in image below: Once you have successfully changed your Workstation Policy You will need to do the following: 1. Download and Apply the new settings file This can be downloaded in the Workstations, select Workstation Policy along the tab and click 'Download Settings File' as highlighted in the screenshot below. Once you have downloaded this, simply run it on the client machine. 2. Deactivate and Activate your user. To deactivate your user, please refer to this article: How to reset the activation process of a managed client After deleting this value, sign out of your account and sign back in, this will prompt a activation box to come up.
